Good Ring Navigation

     Good Ring Navigation is a term you may not be familiar with, but it's becoming a focal point of web rings. The ability for the web ring surfer to go from one web site to another within the Topic Webring.

     Here is an example of Bad Ring Navigation. A surfer clicks on the Next button of the Topic Webring and lands on the Homepage of your web site (the Webring Banner is not on this page). Then he has to search that page for a link to the Topic page (the Webring Banner is not on this page). After viewing your Topic page and he is ready to move on to the next web site, but first he has to find the Webring Banner. Maybe it is on a Webring page! This is not accepted.

     Here is an example of Poor Ring Navigation. A surfer clicks on the Next button of the Topic Webring and lands on the Webring page (the Webring Banner is on this page). Now he has to hunt for a link to the Homepage or at best the Topic page. After viewing the Topic page he has to find his way back to the Webring page before going on to the next WebSite. This is not recommended.
